He married Naomi Ruth Farris in Basehor, Kansas, March 1, 1935. Naomi was born January 5, 1912 in Wheatland, Missouri. Naomi(198) is the daughter of Marion Lester Farris Sr. and Jose Myrtle Campbell.

Richard Clinton Warden and Naomi Ruth Farris had the following children:

2 i. Darlene Joyce² Warden⁽¹⁹⁹⁾ was born in Basehor, Kansas November 9, 1937. She married Charles Peterson. (See Charles Peterson for the continuation of this line.)

3 ii. Medeana Kay Warden was born in Basehor, Kansas March 5, 1947. She married twice. She married Thomas Michael Reeves in Topeka, Kansas, February 17, 1965. Thomas was born March 9, 1946. (See Thomas Michael Reeves for the continuation of this line.) She married Larry Michael Knipp in Topeka, Kansas, April 9, 1981. Larry was born July 14, 1953 in Bonner Springs, Kansas.
