1. James David¹ Barnes was born OK December 23, 1898. James died February 15, 1961 at 62 years of age. His body was interred Salt Lake City, UT.

He married Stella May Lewis Woodland, Yolo, CA, April 4, 1920. Stella was born November 20, 1900 Tehama, CA. Stella was the daughter of William Hiatt Lewis and Ella Melvina Cody. Stella died January 7, 1985 at 84 years of age. Her body was interred Fairfield, Solano, CA.

James David Barnes and Stella May Lewis had the following children:

2 i. Ella Melvina² Barnes was born Winters, Yolo, CA April 14, 1921. She married Alfred McElroy. Alfred died 1987. His body was interred At sea. (See Alfred McElroy for the continuation of this line.)

3 ii. James David Barnes Jr. was born Winters, Yolo, CA January 11, 1923. James died April 4, 1945 at 22 years of age. His body was interred San Bruno, CA.

+ 4 iii. William Ross Barnes was born 1924.

+ 5 iv. Norman Clyde Barnes was born June 23, 1926.

+ 6 v. George LeRoy Barnes was born March 20, 1928.

7 vi. Mary Louise Barnes was born CA May 21, 1930. She married Americo John Valenti. (See Americo John Valenti for the continuation of this line.)

8 vii. Linda May Barnes was born Petaluma, CA May 3, 1932. She married Thomas Gilray Horton Carson City, NV, February 25, 1952. Thomas was born December 18, 1928 Cuba, NY. (See Thomas Gilray Horton for the continuation of this line.)

+ 9 viii. Kenneth Lewis Barnes was born June 24, 1933.
