He married Anne Madison Lewis Tuscumbia, AL. Anne was born 1806. Anne was the daughter of Col. William Lewis. Anne died August 12, 1897 at 91 years of age.

John Bradley and Anne Madison Lewis had the following children:

2 i. Anne² Bradley. She married Robert Bibb.

3 ii. Mary Bradley. She married Thomas Gamble Pitcher. Thomas was born October 23, 1824 in Rockport, IN. Thomas died October 21, 1895 in Fort Bayard, NM, at 70 years of age.

4 iii. William Fleming Bradley.

5 iv. Pauline Bradley. She married Johnston J. Minter.

6 v. Charles Bradley.

7 vi. John Bradley. He married twice. He married Virginia Tabor January 13, 1869. He married Louisa Conrad April 20, 1870.

8 vii. Ada Bradley was born June 1843. Ada died February 23, 1910 at 66 years of age. She married twice. She married Lewis Antonio Maverick September 20, 1865. She married Jacob Waelder April 20, 1870. Jacob was born may 17, 1820 Germany. Jacob died August 28, 1887 in White Sulpher Springs, VA, at 67 years of age.
