1. John Blair¹ Dabney was born 1795. John died 1868 at 73 years of age.

He married Elizabeth Lewis Towles 1820. Elizabeth was born 1801. Elizabeth was the daughter of Col. Oliver Towles Jr. and Agatha Lewis. Elizabeth died 1877 at 76 years of age.

John Blair Dabney and Elizabeth Lewis Towles had the following children:

2 i. Maria Louisa² Dabney. She married William Cabell Carrington. William was born 1821. William died 1851 at 30 years of age.

3 ii. Elizabeth Dabney. She married Peter Saunders.

4 iii. Kate Dabney. She married Charles H.C. Preston.

5 iv. Charles Dabney.

6 v. Chiswell Dabney. He married Fontaine. She was the daughter of Edward Fontaine.

7 vi. Agatha Dabney.

8 vii. John Dabney was born ca. 1819. He married Langhorne.

9 viii. Susan Morris Dabney was born 1827. She married Edmund Pendleton Taylor 1845. Edmund was born 1821. Edmund died 1875 at 54 years of age.
