Emma Lee2 Hawthorne was born in Newport, KY August 10, 1853.
Emma died January 3, 1931 in Bay City, TX, at 77 years of age. She married John Floyd Lewis in
Newport, KY, April 30, 1872. John was born October 16, 1847 in Orangeburg, S.C.. John was the son of Col.
William Lynn Lewis and Letitia Preston Floyd. John died June 13, 1922 in Bay City, TX, at 74 years of age.
