Edward was the son of James Alexander Lewis and Prudentia Wilson. Edward died June 10, 1902 at 63 years of age.

3 ii. Mary Margaret McChesney was born February 22, 1841. Mary died 1915 at 74 years of age. She married Edward Lewis October 9, 1867. Edward was born August 24, 1838 Charleston, W. VA. Edward was the son of James Alexander Lewis and Prudentia Wilson. Edward died June 10, 1902 at 63 years of age.
